Summary

Join Wellhub, a corporate wellness platform, as a Mid-level Frontend Mobile Software Engineer in Portugal! The Billing and Platform UX team develops the billing platform processing millions of transactions globally. You will contribute to strategic projects impacting B2B and B2C checkout conversion, implementing solutions with a cross-functional team. Opportunities exist to develop engineering skills in scalability, architecture, and code quality. This role requires experience with React Native and advanced English, along with a focus on quality and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Focus on making things right and better at every opportunity
  • Experienced in developing front-end based on RESTful APIs, collaborating with back-end teams to create mocks, define payloads and follow the HTTP best practices
  • Experience with the ReactJS ecosystem
  • Candidates with knowledge in Angular or Vue are welcome experience with automated, unit, and behavioral testing of react components
  • Experience in implementing prototypes and in practices and concepts such as MVP, A/B testing, and feature toggles for rolling-out features to production
  • Software quality and test automation mindset
  • Experience with monitoring and observability
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal and written English and Portuguese
  • Good understanding of how a browser works behind the scenes
  • Prior experience in React Native
  • Advanced English level

Responsibilities

  • Research and execute strategic projects along with your team
  • Your deliverables influence B2B and B2C checkout conversion around the globe, by both creating new payment mechanisms and improving/maintaining existing ones
  • Implement and deliver solutions working with a cross-functional team
  • Develop engineering skills by getting involved in scalability problems, system architecture, code quality assurance, among others
