Middle QA Automation Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Middle QA Automation Engineer with JavaScript expertise to develop and maintain automation frameworks in Minsk. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring software quality, and participating in project meetings.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in QA automation
• Proficient in API testing and automation using tools like Postman
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A good level of English (B1 or higher)

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites for web and API applications
• Improve and extend existing JavaScript automation frameworks (e.g., Webdriver.io, Cypress)
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve issues
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and provide comprehensive reports

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with different testing approaches (functional, edge/boundary, negative/failure, regression, performance)
• Familiarity with Point of Sale systems, e-commerce order management, and order processing systems
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies for testing environments
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions)
• Proficiency in mobile test automation with tools like Appium or similar technologies
