ML Data Engineer

Summary

Eight Sleep is hiring a Data Engineer to join their machine learning team on a 6-month contract. The position requires experience in Python, AWS services relevant to machine learning and data engineering, and problem-solving skills. Remote work is eligible for US, CA, or LATAM.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience working in data engineering
• Demonstrated proficiency in Python, including experience with coroutines, NumPy/SciPy, Pandas
• Experience with AWS services relevant to machine learning and data engineering, including EC2, SageMaker, S3, and Kinesis as well as SQL

Responsibilities

• Monitor production machine learning systems to ensure performance and reliability
• Develop big data ETL pipelines for model development and evaluation
