Summary

Join Pindrop's Speech Research team as a Data Engineer and contribute to the development of cutting-edge deepfake detection products. You will design and maintain datasets for machine learning model training, develop data collection and visualization tools, and conduct experimental studies on audio processing tasks. This role requires a Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field and 1+ years of experience as a data engineer in deep learning. Requirements

• Masters degree or PhD in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, etc.) or equivalent experience
• 1+ years of professional experience as a data engineer in Deep Learning, preferably in automatic speech recognition, natural language processing, speaker recognition or model compression, or in general machine learning
• Experience in the preparation of data for ML model training and evaluation
• Strong Python skills
• Experience with 1 of the ML frameworks: TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain datasets for ML model training including data collection, data augmentation and storage
• Develop and maintain tools for data collection, augmentation, and visualization
• Contribute to research packages to train and test ML models
• Conduct experimental studies on various audio processing tasks to assess accuracy and quality of pre-existing models
• Contribute to the research team’s activities including regular research reviews and code reviews

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience on working with audio/visual data and data collection
• Experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS or React JS
• Knowledge of biometrics, authentication, fraud, or customer experience concepts
• Experience communicating with internal and external customers around proof-of-concepts, issues, etc
