Summary

Join Voodoo, a leading mobile game publisher, as an Experienced Mobile Developer and contribute to the core technology powering our games. You will be part of a team developing and maintaining our Unity Mobile SDK, impacting millions of players. As a skilled native mobile developer, you will own and develop SDK features using Java/Kotlin, Objective-C/Swift, and C#. You will work through the full feature lifecycle, from development to testing and ensuring optimal performance. You will also support internal game studios, providing technical expertise and guidance. This role is based in Paris or fully remote within the GMT+4 timezone. The position requires 3-5+ years of experience in native Android and iOS development.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of professional experience in native Android development (Java/Kotlin) and iOS (Objective-C/Swift)
  • Solid understanding of mobile development best practices, design patterns, and architectural principles
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills for mobile applications
  • Familiarity with integrating and working with third-party mobile SDKs
  • Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies for mobile development
  • A strong motivation to learn and work with Unity (C#) for SDK integration

Responsibilities

  • Own and develop essential SDK features primarily using Java/Kotlin for Android and Objective-C/Swift for iOS
  • Integrate with and support our Unity (C#) framework
  • Be responsible for the full lifecycle of features, from initial development to ensuring optimal performance and stability through rigorous testing of our SDK and its 3rd-party integrations
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal game studios, helping them integrate and leverage the SDK to its fullest potential

  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining SDKs or libraries for mobile platforms
  • Exceptional ownership and ability to lead and drive end-to-end projects and change
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing teams and interfacing effectively with various stakeholders
  • Ability to be self-sufficient and work autonomously
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team
  • A deep interest in game development
