Summary

Join Mindera as an Android Developer and contribute to the development of core Android libraries used across multiple apps for a prestigious British retailer. Requirements

• Rock at Kotlin (Kotlin Multiplaform is a plus)
• Rock at Jetpack Compose (Compose Multiplatform is a plus)
• Rock at Coroutines (or RxJava)
• Rock at Software Architecture (MVVM or similar)
• Rock at Unit testing and UI tests
• Rock at Being self-driven and working with little supervision towards a common team or company purpose
• Rock at Having a passion for quality and strong attention to detail
• Rock at Creating fluid visual interactions, creating and implementing mobile user experience patterns

Responsibilities

• Discuss technical architecture and design
• Develop and maintain features by collaborating with the client as one single team
• Write testable code and ensure the test coverage stays at the agreed level
• Document your code
• Take ownership of your code every step of the way – from development to deployment and maintenance
• Mentor junior engineers
• Diagnose issues in production and devise solutions for them
• Work both autonomously and collaboratively to complete tasks
• Be an integral part of solutions design and implementation
• Create exceptional libraries with the latest tech stack while making sure the quality of the apps built with it are world-class
• Contribute with foundations (like Authentication, Network, Telemetry, Scanning) that are used by multiple other teams, being the core of the apps being developed

Preferred Qualifications

• Good at Working as part of a smaller cross-functional and feature-focused team
• Good at Collaborating directly with the client to ensure the technical feasibility of the requirements
• Good at Service-oriented architectures, design patterns and data structures
• Good at Test-driven development and continuous delivery
• Good at Metrics, performance, and operational aspects, which show you care about your code
