Mobile Engineer

Summary

The job involves working as a 0-to-1 mobile engineer for a new nutrition tracking platform that aims to revolutionize the space using AI. The company is mission-driven, focused on affordability and reducing food waste. The team includes a seasoned founder, head of design, and ML engineer.

Requirements

• Deep consumer experience, has built B2C mobile apps that scaled
• Deep knowledge of either Swift or React Native, with a preference for Swift
• Thought deeply about AI and AI-first experiences, ideally hacked around with LLMs
• Ready to build quick prototypes to test new concepts

Responsibilities

• Full ownership over the mobile development from A to Z, close collaboration with our designer and ML engineer
• Close collaboration with CEO and ML Engineer on leveraging AI to the max in the development of this product

Preferred Qualifications

• 0 to 1 engineer that loves the speed and independence that comes with small agile teams
• Passion for sweating the details, crafting micro-interactions and animations to create delightful user experiences with a high craft bar
