Summary

Novellia is seeking an experienced Mobile (React Native) Engineer to join their team. The role involves developing and enhancing apps for iOS and Android platforms, staying updated on industry trends, and contributing innovative ideas. The candidate should have a bachelor's degree, 5 years of software development experience, at least 2 years in a startup environment, and 3+ years of experience in React Native and iOS app development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a startup environment
  • 3+ years of experience in developing iOS applications using React Native (bonus: experience with Swift, Objective-C, Xcode, and the iOS SDK)
  • Proven working experience in iOS app development, with a strong portfolio of deployed applications/features in the App Store
  • A history of delivery on high impact organizational projects
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to overcome technical challenges
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and positive attitude
  • Passion for product development and a willingness to take initiative and ownership of projects
  • Commitment to following best practices and standards for software development
  • Wants to be part of building an engineering team from the ground up
  • Participation in on-call rotation

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate within cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient software solutions
  • Lead the development and maintenance of our iOS application and launching of our Android application, ensuring high performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest iOS and Android platform and hardware developments, as well as advancements in the health tech space, to continuously innovate and improve our product
  • Contribute innovative ideas and solutions to improve product functionality, performance, and usability
  • Implement best practices for coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Work closely with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in digital health technologies is a strong plus
