Mobile Engineer

Join OLX's Platform team as a Mobile Engineer specializing in Flutter and Android development. This remote position, based anywhere in Poland, involves developing modular and scalable solutions, improving application performance and security, collaborating with diverse engineering teams, and staying updated on industry trends. The role requires 3+ years of Flutter and Android development experience, proficiency in RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and familiarity with CI/CD processes. Requirements

• 3+ years of experience developing with Flutter and hands-on experience with Android app development using Java/Kotlin
• Experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and integrating them into applications
• Experience with software design, object orientation, architecture, and delivery patterns
• You are comfortable with refactoring skills and techniques
• An understanding of the mobile ecosystem, common libraries and languages
• Experience with large-scale mobile applications
• An understanding of the full mobile development life-cycle
• Experience in testing automation (unit testing, end-to-end testing)
• Fluency in English
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes in the mobile application context

Responsibilities

• Inspire creativity and contribute to the improvement of the mobile app development process
• Develop modular and scalable solutions that enable other teams to deliver excellent work
• Create modular and scalable code that allows easy integration with other systems and seamless collaboration with other teams
• Improve the application's performance, usability, and security
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impact on the development process
• Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and engineers from other teams to solve technical challenges
• Provide training, help, and support to other team members
• Participate in conferences, communities, and educational programs
