Senior or Staff Mobile Engineer

Summary

Join EnsoData as a Senior or Staff-Level Mobile Engineer and contribute to the development and improvement of our Celeste Sleep mobile application. As the second full-time mobile engineer, you will play a key role in the app's continued success, impacting thousands of patients monthly. This fully remote or hybrid position offers a competitive salary ($125k-$140k), stock options, and a comprehensive benefits package. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development, testing, and maintenance of the app, working closely with product and customer success teams. We are looking for a passionate and experienced React Native Typescript developer with a proven track record of building and releasing successful mobile applications.

Requirements

• 5+ years full time experience working with a team building React Native Typescript apps
• 1+ years experience building native iOS/Android apps or React native modules
• Demonstrated portfolio of released applications on the Google/Apple app store
• Bachelor or Master of Science in Computer Sciences or related field required
• Strong sense of urgency, integrity and pride in one's work must be demonstrated

Responsibilities

• Execute the planned EnsoData product roadmap to add valuable new features such as adding support for connecting to additional FDA approved PPG devices
• Investigate and correct the root cause of mobile app issues in a timely manner by working closely with product and Customer Success teams to gather information
• Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions; troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
• Submit changes of our app to the Google / Apple app stores
• Follow EnsoData Quality Management System processes including Jira ticket workflows; ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards
• Follow software development, cybersecurity, and HIPAA best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Bluetooth experience preferred but not required
• Experience getting apps reviewed and approved through Google Play / Apple App Store
• Previous experience at a high growth startup, tech, healthcare, or similar company a plus
