Summary
Join LILT as a freelance monolingual data labeling contributor and help us create realistic text samples in Levantine Arabic. This project involves generating short texts like emails, SMS messages, and social media posts, simulating everyday user communication. No translation experience is needed; native fluency in Levantine Arabic and good English knowledge are required. A second stage will involve proofreading and refining AI-generated content. The project is remote, lasts 1-3 months, and requires a Tipalti account for payment. A short test is required before starting, and you will need to apply with your English-language resume.
Requirements
- Native-level fluency in the target language, living in-country
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Creativity and accuracy in producing realistic, everyday content
- A short test will be required before onboarding

- An active Tipalti account will be a precondition to work with LILT
- The project duration is estimated to be 1 to 3 months
- Good knowledge of English is required
Responsibilities
- Generate short text samples in your native language, including: Emails, SMS/text messages, Social media posts
- These texts will be created based on specific guidelines we will provide
- The goal is to simulate how an everyday user would naturally write messages in various digital formats
- A second stage will follow, where we need post-editors to proofread and adapt/refine the AI-generated content so it reads as an authentic reflection of how ordinary users communicate in their language locally (colloquial, adapted properly to linguistic conventions.)
