Motion Design Fellow

Summary

Join Business Insider's news team as a Motion Design Fellow and contribute to the creation of engaging animations for shows like Risky Business. This six-month paid fellowship offers hands-on experience in digital storytelling, producing real work for a large audience. Requirements

• Possess strong skills in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects
• A passion for visual storytelling through animations
• A passion for digital storytelling and voracious reading habits
• Familiarity with digital and social media
• The ability to work quickly and collaboratively with a fast-paced team
• A love of Business Insider and our mission to serve readers with the information and inspiration they need in a way that’s accurate, fair, fast, and fun

Responsibilities

• Quickly execute visually engaging animations for our documentaries, which will be shared across platforms
• Concept, storyboard, and iterate on graphics based on feedback from teammates
• Collaborate with the larger news team on pre-production, production, and post-production workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience shooting with Canon, Panasonic, and Sony cameras
• Experience with video editing in Adobe Premiere
• Proficiency in Premiere, Illustrator, and other Adobe software
