Based remotely in Canada (PST-EST), you will create engaging animated banners and icons for AAA gaming projects. You'll collaborate with a global team, utilizing your 2D animation skills in After Effects and Photoshop. Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in motion design and 2D animation, with a portfolio showcasing relevant work
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop
• Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and typography
• Ability to work in multiple artistic styles and adapt to project-specific requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve design and technical challenges
• Ability to work well in a team and support other employees
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements as needed

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and designs for animated banners and icons that enhance user engagement
• Utilize After Effects to animate graphics, ensuring smooth and visually appealing motion sequences
• Design and prepare graphics in Photoshop for animation, maintaining high-quality visual standards
• Adapt to various artistic styles to produce animations that fit different themes and project requirements
• Work closely with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to integrate animations seamlessly into gaming platforms
• Accept and incorporate feedback from peers and supervisors to refine animations and achieve desired outcomes
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in motion design and animation to bring innovative ideas to the team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the gaming industry or with gaming-related projects
• Knowledge of 3D animation software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender)
• Understanding of user interface (UI) design principles
