Summary

Join Harbor's Technology-Enabled Solutions group as a .NET Developer to contribute to the growth of its internal software tool. This fully remote US-based role involves supporting existing and new clients by developing and testing responsive web applications. You will play an integral role in enhancing a new technology-based service line. Daily responsibilities include developing test scripts, understanding Agile requirements, documenting, implementing updates, and working with offshore developers. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in .NET development, Azure services, and related technologies. Little to no travel is required.

Requirements

• 2+ years of full life cycle application development experience
• Have permanent US work authorization
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with C#
• 2+ years of experience with SQL Server and developing database driven .NET applications
• 2+ years of experience .NET framework 4.0+
• 2+ years of Azure development
• 2+ years of experience in developing applications using Azure services
• 2+ years of JavaScript, jQuery / Git
• 2+ years of Start-to-finish application development lifecycle experience
• Effective task management and ability to balance multiple client engagements, deliverables, etc
• Ability to analyze, propose and implement timely, cost-effective, quality solutions for all issues or problems within area of responsibility
• Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team-based environment

Responsibilities

• Develop and test responsive web applications
• Develop test scripts to ensure the quality of applications
• Understand requirements in Agile environment and develop new application features
• Document requirements
• Implement product updates, features and enhancements to new/existing modules
• Support the creation of new modules and other practice development initiatives
• Work with offshore developers to review and improve code quality, requirements specifications and design methodologies
• Support development lead to drive improvements in the development process
• Assisting in gathering specification requirements from clients

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency or strong interest in web-based technologies such as: Bootstrap
• Demonstrated proficiency or strong interest in web-based technologies such as: CSS
• Demonstrated proficiency or strong interest in web-based technologies such as: Angular
