Summary

Join our team as a C# .Net Developer (Remote) in Raleigh, NC for a 12+ month contract! This junior specialist-level role requires expertise in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting the AASHTO Ware Project (AWP). You will collaborate with business analysts and technical staff in an agile environment, delivering functionality for AWP Preconstruction and CRL modules. Responsibilities include system administration, report writing, automated testing, configuration, and interface development. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in C#, .NET, and related technologies, along with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate ability to perform a wide range of programming and analysis work and to work independently for 5 years
  • Possess knowledge of SQL, C#, .NET, python, powershell, command line and other standard languages used in web application development for 2 years
  • Possess knowledge of best practices in coding and security for 2 years
  • Have experience working well with others in a SCRUM software development team following Agile for 2 years
  • Be able to clearly explain technical processes to team members for 2 years
  • Be able to review and translate business user specifications to configure COTS applications to produce desired results for 2 years
  • Be able to execute technical work using best practices, including GIT for source code maintenance for 2 years

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, and support AASHTO Ware Project (AWP) for the client
  • Work with business analysts and other technical staff to deliver required functionality for AWP Preconstruction and CRL modules to the client business customers in an agile environment
  • Perform system administration tasks related to AWP implementation and support
  • Write reports related to AWP
  • Develop and execute automated testing for AWP
  • Configure AWP systems
  • Develop interfaces for AWP
  • Work directly for the client Letting and Compliance Systems (LCS) manager

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience in working with state DOT customers for 2 years
  • Understand AASHTOWare Project out of the box tools & processes for 2 years
  • Be able to evaluate and analyze AASHTOWare Project with requirements and make recommendations, based on technical expertise for 2 years
  • Possess technical expertise in specific AASHTOWare Project functions and DOT business processes for 2 years
  • Understand the AASHTOWare Project data model and how to use the Interactive Data Model tool for development of solutions for 2 years
  • Be able to recommend development of and demonstrate best use of appropriate testing protocols for 2 years
  • Possess knowledge of automated testing to be used when performing application upgrades for 2 years
  • Have experience with AASHTOWare Project (AWP) Active Reports Development (Grape City Tool) for 2 years
