Summary

Join a global IT consulting company as a Senior .NET Developer, initially working remotely from anywhere and later potentially onsite in Dublin, Ireland. This role involves collaborating with a major client's IT team. You will be responsible for software development, system upgrades, supporting development teams, knowledge transfer, documentation, and SQL Server database management. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and significant experience with .NET development, various frameworks, and SQL Server. The successful candidate will possess excellent English language skills.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related discipline
  • Have a minimum of 4 years' experience in application design, development, testing, and implementation of .NET applications
  • Have at least 4 years' experience implementing .NET-based software using Microsoft .NET framework (version 3.5 and later), C#, and VB
  • Have a minimum of 4 years' experience developing .NET-based applications using MVC, jQuery, and SQL Server 2012/2016/2019
  • Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in the development, testing, and implementation of SQL Server Reporting Services
  • Possess experience in ASP.NET Core and classic ASP
  • Have experience in database development (stored procedures, triggers), maintenance, and tuning
  • Have experience with Azure DevOps
  • Demonstrate excellent English command, supported by a certificate at the C2 Mastery or Proficiency level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

Responsibilities

  • Develop software to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of business systems
  • Upgrade systems to newer versions of the .NET framework
  • Support the development and support teams
  • Provide knowledge transfer to development and support teams
  • Define, produce, and update associated technical documentation
  • Develop, maintain, test, and perform tuning of SQL Server databases (stored procedures, triggers)
