Summary

Join Axiom Software Solutions as a Network Data Engineer for a minimum 15-month contract (with potential extension) working fully remotely across the UK. This role requires extensive experience supporting data center operations and expertise in L2/L3 IP protocols (HSRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and VRF). You will need deep knowledge of multi-vendor environments (Viptela SD-WAN, Cisco SD-Access, Cisco DNA, and Cisco ISE), troubleshooting, and deployment of SD-WAN & SD-Access. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for interacting with clients and delivering network solutions. The position involves handling deployments, implementations, and design documentation.

Requirements

Be CCNP- ENCOR Certified or CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure certified

Responsibilities

  • Provide extensive support for DC Operation support
  • Demonstrate expertise in L2/L3 IP protocols i.e. HSRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS and VRF
  • Possess expertise in understanding of the multi-vendor/technology environment specialized in Viptela SD-WAN, Cisco SD-Access, Cisco DNA and Cisco ISE
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of configuration and troubleshooting of IP protocols and hardware platform
  • Show good understanding of Data Center infrastructure and Branch/Headquarter connectivity
  • Possess expertise knowledge of Routing and switching
  • Be a troubleshooting expert of network related issues, with a sound understanding of troubleshooting tools like Wireshark and the ability to perform packet analysis
  • Possess expertise in deployment SD-WAN & SD-Access
  • Interact with Customers and understand customer network and Services Delivery requirements
  • Handle Deployment, Implementation, and prepare High level Design, Low Level Design
  • Prepare Solution documents and Network impact reports
  • Interact with Clients on a regular basis to understand their Business, coordinate, and direct work
  • Provide consultation on designing from a Network perspective with SD-WAN, SD-Access
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of Software-Defined Access in the Cisco-powered Enterprise Campus network. SDAFND
  • Be flexible to support 24/7
  • Possess knowledge of Vulnerability Management, Lifecycle Management
  • Provide break fix for ongoing issues with P1 and critical Incidents

Preferred Qualifications

Have Cisco ENSDENG certification
