Network Engagement Fellow

Summary

Join GroundBreakers, a global nonprofit, as a Network Engagement Fellow! Support local leaders in 65+ countries by conducting needs assessments, planning events, and coordinating fundraising campaigns. Collaborate with the Racial Equity and Media teams to promote the work of frontline leaders. This remote, unpaid volunteer internship offers valuable experience in community development, research, writing, and team engagement. The ideal candidate demonstrates a commitment to racial equity and possesses strong communication and analytical skills. Apply by May 3, 2021.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments with local leaders to help inform the most relevant and impactful programming possible
• Support event planning and management for programming supporting the GroundBreakers Network
• Plan fundraising campaigns for such initiatives as supporting frontline racial equity leaders and increasing accessibility to community resources
• Support the writing and editing process for the GroundBreakers newsletter sharing updates and resources with leaders globally
• Engage donors and community members in growing GroundBreakers’ impact
• Collaborate with the GroundBreakers Media Team on promoting content and engaging the GroundBreakers network of local leaders

Preferred Qualifications

• Have prior experience in interviewing and writing
• Have experience with graphic design tools including Canva
