Summary
Join iT1, a leading technology solution provider, as a Network Engineer III on our Consulting team! This role involves troubleshooting, implementing, and maintaining network solutions for clients, ensuring optimal performance and uptime of critical infrastructure. You will research and resolve client and internal issues, monitor ticketing queues, and support multiple systems. The position requires strong Cisco networking expertise and experience in managing enterprise deployments. The role is remote with a Sunday-Thursday schedule (4 AM β 12:30 PM AZ).
Requirements
- 3+ years of Cisco networking leadership in large, multi-site enterprise
- 3+ years of Cisco network hardware configuration management (routers, switches, VPN/IPSec)
- 3+ years of managing enterprise deployment and support for secure wireless
- 3+ years of TCP/IP mastery, inclusive of LAN and secure WAN design and implementation
- Ability to assess existing architectures and situations and make recommendations
- Strong ability to cultivate relationships with clients to develop and share understanding of technology solutions
- Presentation and articulation of technical content aligning to audience
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, remediate, and implement network solutions to meet client technology and business needs
- Research, resolve, and respond to internal and client issues within the NOC teamβs responsibilities
- Monitor ticketing queue and respond to service requests or incidents
- Troubleshoot problems reported by users, systems, and electronic messaging services, maintaining a secure systems environment
- Maintain, monitor, and support the network infrastructure environment and/or facilities
- Coordinate and work on multiple cross-functional base work initiatives and projects
- Diagnose and resolve complex network-related incidents
- Support multiple systems or applications of medium to high complexity, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility
- Install, configure, and maintain approved hardware and software components
- Provide support for connectivity or related network/communication issues for the user community
- Define technical requirements to meet customer business requirements
- Present solutions to clients in face-to-face and virtual meetings
- Implement solutions according to technical requirements
- Escalate issues to appropriate personnel as necessary
