Network & Security Consultant

Summary

Join our dynamic and non-hierarchical team as a Network Consultant to manage physical and virtual connections, segment customer and internal systems, and protect against unwanted access. You will plan and execute network activities, handle service requests and incident tickets, and work with various vendors and solutions.

Requirements

• Fluent in German (min. B2) and English (B2)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Professional experience as a network or security specialist
• Relevant knowledge in one or more similar solutions and interested in working with Cisco ACI, Cisco Meraki, Arista, Juniper SRX, Checkpoint ClusterXL, Checkpoint VSX, Citrix ADC, IPSEC, BGP, OSPF, Azure, GCP, Terraform, Python, CheckMK, IBM qRadar

Responsibilities

• Manage all physical and virtual connections that connect both customer and internal systems
• Handle the segmentation of customer and internal systems and protect them against unwanted access
• Plan and execute network activities
• Day-to-day business: service requests and incident tickets
• Firewall administration and updates
• Firewall ports opening
• IPSEC VPNs phase-in / phase-out
• Loss of connectivity troubleshooting
