Security Consultant

Summary

Join us in redefining the security and cyber risk landscape as a Senior Security Consultant on the Compliance team at Pondurance. You will direct compliance-related consulting engagements, utilize current knowledge and skill sets to creatively solve issues for clients, and build strong relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years’ experience in compliance, information security auditing. and assessment, or 7+ years proven experience in a related information security field
• CISSP, CISA, PCI DSS QSA, CMMC, or comparable certifications – highly desired
• In-depth understanding of PCI DSS
• Working knowledge of IT concepts (networking, operating systems, databases, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide a blend of client services, including assessment, auditing, recommendations, and security advisory
• Conduct and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting project deadlines and budgets
• Deliver presentations and facilitate interviews with client stakeholders
• Execute client security program and security controls review
• Share knowledge and expertise with team members and peers
• Complete quality assurance reviews on work prepared by team members and peers
• Learn emerging technologies, and frameworks, and stay updated with the latest developments in the information security space
