Network Team Lead

Summary

Join Nagarro, a global digital product engineering company, as an experienced Network Team Lead. Lead and mentor a skilled team, ensuring the stability, performance, and security of critical network services across data centers, cloud, and customer environments. You will own key network services and co-own the development of the data center environment. Handle technical escalations and drive improvements, focusing on security, stability, and performance. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and technical skills.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in the IT industry
• 5+ years specializing in at least one of these areas: Service Provider Networks
• Data Center Networking
• Security
• Campus LAN / Wireless
• Routing & Switching
• Proven leadership experience (e.g. as Team Lead or Project Manager)
• Strong communication & conflict resolution skills
• Solid understanding of Service Provider infrastructure
• Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
• Fluent in English and German (spoken & written)

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting the Network & Security team — both technically and personally
• Ensuring reliable operation of network infrastructure across data centers, cloud, and customer environments
• Ownership of key network services such as Managed WAN, MPLS, Cloudflare DDoS Protection, NetScaler WAF, IPSEC VPN, and Client-to-Site VPN
• Co-owning and further developing our data center environment with Cisco ACI, CheckPoint VSX, Juniper SRX, and Arista switches & routers
• Handling technical escalations and driving improvements with a focus on security, stability, and performance
• Building and maintaining strong vendor relationships to guarantee fast, reliable support
