Node.js Backend Developer

Summary

Join our team at Zelh as we search for dedicated team members to work on a scheduling platform designed specifically for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) providers. As a server-side developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications using Node.js, designing and implementing APIs and microservices, collaborating with frontend developers, optimizing application performance and scalability, and managing databases and AWS cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js frameworks (e.g., Express.js)
• Experience with MySQL database design and optimization
• Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.)
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and best practices
• Experience with Docker and containerization is a plus
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js
• Design and implement APIs and microservices
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Optimize application performance and scalability
• Manage databases (MySQL) and AWS cloud infrastructure
