Summary

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience with Node.js and Javascript/Typescript
  • Experience with SQL, PostgreSQL and Redshift
  • Experience with cloud-based, event-driven architecture including: serverless functions (AWS Lambda), event queues (SQS, Kinesis), and containerized server clusters (ECS)
  • Minimum of 3 years working in an Agile software development environment
  • Possess a consultant mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, product managers, non-technical stakeholders, and customers
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to work domestically
  • Must be able to attain low-level security clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Responsibilities

  • Work hand in hand with other engineers developing AWS Lambda functions to process high volumes of throughput from event based pipelines
  • Write code, develop tests, and debug
  • Give input on high-level architecture decisions and communicate those decisions to other developers on the team
  • Build APIs that support both the digital services we deliver as well as third-party usage

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the NestJS framework
  • Experience writing applications in Golang
