Node.JS Software Engineer

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in software development
• Strong NodeJs experience
• React 15 (Redux)
• AWS Basics with some knowledge of cloud deployments and troubleshooting
• Git
• OOP fundamentals
• Oracle DB 12c+
• Postgres
• Agile (scrum, kanban)
• Good English communication

Responsibilities

• Work in an Agile development environment
• Lead scrum meetings
• Deliver independently complex tasks/features/research projects from scratch
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Node.js and ReactJS
• Work closely with stakeholders, product managers, and other developers to understand project requirements and design the architecture of applications
• Review code written by other team members
• Offer feedback and ensure that code quality standards are met
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers
• Ensure that the Node.js application is secure by implementing best security practices
• Identify opportunities for code refactoring and optimization
• Support in pair programming if needed
