Nurse Training Program Manager

Summary

The job is for a remote Online Nurse Training Program Manager who will develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive web-based nurse training program for the IHS. The goal is to provide continuing education and certification for various nursing professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, Education, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred
• Certification in Project Management (PMP) or similar certification is desirable
• Proven experience in developing and managing online training programs, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and web-based education delivery
• Familiarity with accreditation and certification processes for nursing education

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage an interactive web-based distance learning management system (LMS) that meets national certification and recertification requirements
• Coordinate the logistics of accredited training courses that meet competency-based standards of accrediting/certifying organizations
• Provide comprehensive training packages for APRNs, RNs, LPNs, and CNAs with unlimited usage
• Ensure the LMS can handle the addition and deletion of courses, pre-test capabilities, post-test assessments, and the ability to print certificates of completion
• Develop custom educational modules using subject matter experts
