Summary

Definity First is seeking an Observability Engineer with expertise in Datadog and observability practices to maintain and enhance their monitoring capabilities. This is a remote position open to candidates from LATAM.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Datadog
• Strong understanding of observability practices, including logging, metrics, and tracing in cloud and hybrid environments
• Experience in monitoring and improving the performance of complex systems
• Ability to diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently using observability data
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical team members
• Advanced English

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and manage Datadog to ensure comprehensive monitoring of our infrastructure and applications
• Develop and maintain observability solutions to provide full-stack visibility, including metrics, logs, and traces
• Continuously monitor system performance, identify issues, and work on their resolution to ensure system reliability
