Requirements

- Adapts to changes in hospital partner timelines, requirements, and project assignments
- Maintains a high degree of responsibility in keeping PHI secure and confidential
- Must be the proud recipient of a ODS Certification
- 3+ years direct data abstraction experience in the Cancer Registry
- 1+ years providing coaching and guidance to teams
- Exposure to patient medical record systems (EMRs) and clinical databases
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Microsoft Excel)
Responsibilities
- Monitor team productivity for abstracting, case finding, and follow-up to meet team targets
- Conduct weekly team reviews of the dashboard to identify performance issues and share findings with Senior Manager/Manager
- Understand partner expectations and maintain high partner satisfaction through regular communication
- Take ownership of partner deliverables, including accurate and timely submissions and case completion
- Monitor compliance for CoC accreditation
- Champion QC technology for internal workflow improvement
- Act as the primary owner for new implementations and projects
- Perform other quality-related tasks as assigned
- Handle less than 5% abstraction tasks, as needed
