Online Math Teaching Assistant

Summary

Join Think Academy US as a Part-Time Remote Teaching Assistant for Elementary School math competition courses. You will partner with instructors to assist students during online classes, actively engage with a class of 28 students, and provide timely feedback to students and parents. Responsibilities include homework grading and Q&A. The position requires a Bachelor's degree (or in progress) and excellent communication skills; prior teaching experience is a plus. The role is 20-30 hours per week, primarily on weekends and weekday afternoons, with a commitment to at least one semester. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above, all majors are welcome as long as you're passionate in kids and math teaching; Education, or STEM-related majors are preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly responsible and love to get along with kids
• Can commit to at least one whole semester teaching (Spring: Jan - May; Summer: June - Aug; Fall: Aug - Dec)
• Available and willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends

• Partner with class instructor to provide assistance to students during online class
• Actively engage and manage a class size of 28 students
• Communicate well with students and parents to provide timely and customized feedbacks
• Homework grading, as well as homework Q&A

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior math teaching experiences
• Super passionate about teaching and education industry, with a mission to provide better education to promote social development
