Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in public administration, Urban Planning, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience working for a public sector agency working on permitting and licensing
  • Strong understanding of permitting and licensing processes and best practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Aptitude for technology, with experience in implementing or supporting technology solutions
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems independently
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing permitting and licensing processes within the public sector to identify areas for improvement and optimization
  • Lead the configuration, customization, and deployment of Oracle Permitting and Licensing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement end-to-end Permitting and Licensing solutions
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices for Oracle Permitting and Licensing implementation and maintenance
  • Develop and deliver training sessions to empower users and administrators
  • Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure system reliability and performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, providing ongoing support and enhancements
  • Stay updated on Oracle Permitting and Licensing product updates and emerging trends to continually enhance solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • A master’s degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, or a related field
  • Experience with Oracle Permitting and Licensing
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and apply digital solutions to traditional public sector challenges
  • Experience in training and developing end-users in new systems
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies
  • Prior experience in a consulting role
  • Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting
  • Proven resilience in managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing environments
