A bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience are required. Requirements
- A bachelorβs degree in public administration, Urban Planning, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience working for a public sector agency working on permitting and licensing
- Strong understanding of permitting and licensing processes and best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Aptitude for technology, with experience in implementing or supporting technology solutions
- Ability to think critically and solve problems independently
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing permitting and licensing processes within the public sector to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Lead the configuration, customization, and deployment of Oracle Permitting and Licensing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement end-to-end Permitting and Licensing solutions
- Provide expert guidance on best practices for Oracle Permitting and Licensing implementation and maintenance
- Develop and deliver training sessions to empower users and administrators
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure system reliability and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, providing ongoing support and enhancements
- Stay updated on Oracle Permitting and Licensing product updates and emerging trends to continually enhance solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- A masterβs degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, or a related field
- Experience with Oracle Permitting and Licensing
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and apply digital solutions to traditional public sector challenges
- Experience in training and developing end-users in new systems
- Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies
- Prior experience in a consulting role
- Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting
- Proven resilience in managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing environments
