Requirements

  • BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering etc
  • Good command of English (experience in working foreign customers is a plus)
  • OpenShift/Kubernetes: Deep expertise in OpenShift administration, configuration, and troubleshooting. This includes managing pods, deployments, services, config maps, manifests, secrets, and networking. Experience hardening OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters and securing containerized applications
  • Containerization: Proficiency in building, managing, and deploying containers
  • On Premise Infrastructure: Familiarity with on premise private cloud implementations running on IBM Power series hardware and also standard x86 infrastructure
  • Networking: Understanding of networking concepts (e.g., routing, firewalls, load balancers) and experience with network configuration in a cloud or OpenShift environment
  • Expertise in designing and implementing robust CI/CD pipelines for mobile (React Native) and backend (Java) applications using GitLab CI
  • Automated Testing: Experience integrating automated testing integration (unit, integration, end-to-end) into the CI/CD process to ensure code quality and stability
  • Scripting Languages: Strong scripting skills for automating routine tasks and creating custom scripts for deployment, configuration, and maintenance
  • Package Management: Practical knowledge of Helm and deployment models
  • IaC Tool Expertise: Strong skills in IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and management
  • Configuration Management: Experience using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to automate the configuration of servers and applications
  • Auditing and Logging: Understanding of audit logging requirements and experience implementing secure logging mechanisms
  • GitLab: Advanced knowledge of GitLab platform, managing code repositories, project collaboration, and automation workflows
  • Database Administration: Basic knowledge of database administration
  • Monitoring Tool Expertise: Proficiency in setting up monitoring and alerting systems using tools as Dynatrace and Splunk
  • Performance Optimization: Ability to analyze monitoring data to identify performance bottlenecks, resource utilization issues, and areas for optimization
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues and propose innovative solutions
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile team environment, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Collaboration: Ability to work in a cross-functional team, including designers, backend engineers, and product managers
  • Adaptability: Comfortable with a fast-paced, dynamic environment and willing to learn new technologies and methodologies

  • Manages, monitors, optimizes and configures OpenShift Container Platform
  • Designs and implements CI/CD pipelines

  • Aligns developer and IT operation teams for seamless deployment

Preferred Qualifications

Having CKAD, CKA, Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator certificates will be a plus
