Summary
As an Optimization Modeling Analyst, you will analyze diverse data to develop optimization strategies, enhance operational performance, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, with proven experience in creating and implementing optimization models and proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Proven experience in creating and implementing optimization models
- Proven experience as a data analyst or similar role, with a focus on optimization modeling, data visualization, and reporting
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
Responsibilities
- Data Analysis and Visualization: Extract, clean, analyze data from various sources to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive efficiency and revenue optimization. Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
- Optimization Planning: Analyze data on energy pricing, asset type, asset age, and other operational metrics to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements. Develop and implement optimization models and strategies to maximize operational efficiency and revenue
- Report Generation and Automation: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for key stakeholders to track KPIs, performance metrics, and business trends related to optimization efforts. Automate report generation processes to increase efficiency and scalability
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven optimization solutions. Communicate findings and insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences through presentations, reports, and visualizations
