Oracle Technical Analyst

Summary

Join SMX's dynamic team as a highly motivated and technically skilled Oracle Fusion Technical Analyst. You will develop custom reports and data extracts, implement data conversions, and integrate Oracle Fusion Applications with third-party systems. This role requires close collaboration with clients to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions using various tools like BI Publisher, OTBI, OIC, and FBDI. The position is remote with up to 40% travel to client sites. You will solve complex technical challenges and deliver impactful solutions. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and proven experience with Oracle Fusion Applications implementations are required. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Proven experience with Oracle Fusion Applications implementations
• Proficiency in developing reports using BI Publisher and OTBI
• Strong experience with FBDI (File-Based Data Import), FBDL, HCM Data Loaders, and APIs for data conversions
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for building and managing integrations
• Solid understanding of web services, data extracts, and data loading strategies
• Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and troubleshooting
• Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve integration/reporting issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Fast Formulas in Oracle Fusion HCM or other modules
• Prior consulting experience in client-facing roles
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate functional needs into technical solutions
