You will play a key role in reviewing OSP designs, conducting quality audits, and ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include design validation using various software, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and overseeing internal and external teams. You will also monitor project progress, conduct site visits, and collaborate with various stakeholders for successful project execution. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field preferred
  • A minimum of 5–7 years of experience in OSP engineering, QA, or telecom project oversight
  • Extensive knowledge of FTTx architecture, network planning, fiber design standards, and quality control
  • Proven experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Comsof, IQGeo, AutoDesign, ARMIS, ArcGIS, and QGIS
  • Strong understanding of aerial, buried, and underground fiber construction practices
  • Familiarity with NESC, NEC, and other telecom regulatory standards
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams

Responsibilities

  • Review and validate OSP fiber and copper network designs using AutoCAD, GIS (e.g., ESRI, Vetro, IQGEO), and MicroStation
  • Ensure all designs comply with NESC, NEC, local codes, and telecom industry standards
  • Perform quality audits on design and construction work and document all QA findings
  • Review and resolve design issues, including signal loss, layout inefficiencies, and code violations
  • Oversee internal and external teams to ensure compliance with engineering and construction standards
  • Monitor project progress, track quality metrics, and support scheduling to meet deadlines and deliverables
  • Conduct site visits or remote evaluations to verify installation practices and ROW compliance
  • Coordinate with contractors, municipalities, and utility partners to ensure successful project execution
