Summary

Join PromptCloud, a leading Data as a Service (DaaS) company, as a Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive growth in the North American market. You will identify and engage potential customers, generate high-quality leads, and set up meetings for the sales team. This role is crucial in expanding PromptCloud's presence in the US by connecting with key decision-makers in the eCommerce industry. Your primary goal is to generate high-quality Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) that align with PromptCloud's ideal customer profile. You will collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimize lead generation and refine outreach strategies. Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in a Business Development or Sales role, preferably in a SaaS/ startup environment
  • Experience working in the US market - understanding of buyer behavior and sales cycles in North America
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to craft compelling outreach messages
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with minimal management
  • Experience using sales engagement tools, AI tools exposure & enablement readiness

Responsibilities

  • Generate high-quality Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) that align with PromptCloud’s ideal customer profile, driving new business opportunities
  • Identify, research, and engage potential clients via email, cold calling, LinkedIn, and other channels
  • Assess potential customers' pain points, needs, and interest in our solutions
  • Schedule discovery calls and demos for Account Executives, ensuring a strong handover
  • Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to optimize lead generation efforts and refine outreach strategies
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach, engagement, and pipeline activity in HubSpot

Preferred Qualifications

Background in eCommerce or data solutions preferred - familiarity with eCommerce business model, platforms, analytics tools, or related technologies is a plus
