Requirements

  • Results-driven with a competitive edge, high energy, and activity-focused
  • Previous cold calling experience required
  • 2+ years of sales leadership experience
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and listening communication skills; you can turn skeptics into believers
  • Highly organized and efficient with strong project management skills
  • Experience working with enterprise customers, including interactions with C-suite executives
  • Passion for lead generation processes and an understanding of its importance in business success
  • A love for technology and how it can make you more productive

Responsibilities

  • Lead a dedicated team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) responsible for cold-calling prospects, educating the market about Fleetio, and generating opportunities with new customers
  • Develop the SDR team by providing continuous training, coaching, and mentoring on sales processes, skills, best practices, and supporting tools
  • Manage both individual and team performance, track key performance indicators, and provide regular feedback in weekly 1x1s
  • Analyze and report on key metrics and forecasts to management, and identify opportunities to optimize current processes
  • Build a scalable hiring process and expand the SDR team as needed
  • Cultivate a positive and high-performing culture within the Sales Development team
  • Align compensation with company goals and objectives to drive motivation and results
  • Act as a data-driven change agent, contributing valuable strategic input to the business
  • Lead the team to consistently exceed sales quotas
