Summary
Join Viator, a Tripadvisor company, as an Outside Sales Executive and play a key role in expanding our global experiences catalogue. Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in sales, ideally in an online marketplace, travel, or high-growth commercial environment
- Demonstrated success in closing new business and consistently exceeding sales targets
- Strong commercial instincts and a consultative approach to building long-term partnerships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM, with strong pipeline and territory management discipline
- Results-driven mindset with a strong sense of ownership and urgency
- Relentless drive to sign new partners and grow the business
- Proven self-starter who can operate independently, manage time effectively, and deliver without constant supervision
- Comfortable with change and adaptable in a fast-paced, field-based environment
Responsibilities
- Own your assigned vertical, region, or supplier segment with full accountability for driving new business
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and outreach to negotiation, closing, and onboarding
- Engage new suppliers through outbound calls, meetings, and in-person visits
- Position Viator’s platform consultatively to win high-quality, long-term supply partnerships
- Negotiate commercial terms including rates and margins to secure bookable inventory
- Manage your pipeline in Salesforce with strong forecasting, follow-up, and deal progression discipline
- Overcome objections and remove roadblocks with agility and tailored sales tactics
- Consistently exceed monthly and quarterly targets with urgency, creativity, and commercial focus
- Build relationships with key industry partners including DMOs and trade organizations
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless supplier onboarding experience
- Travel regularly to meet prospects, attend trade shows, and represent Viator in the field
