Remote Outside Sales Representative

Summary

Join Lakewood Automation as an Outside Sales Representative to create relationships with customers, provide automation solutions, and enjoy autonomy and a choice of base pay or commission-only salary structure.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Valid and in good standing state driver’s license is required
• Basic MS Office proficiency is required

Responsibilities

• Proactively seek out potential customers through cold calling
• Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Present, promote and sell all products and services to existing and prospective customers
• Become knowledgeable about our products and services to provide value-added solutions
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within a required schedule
• Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments
• Analyze the territory’s potential, and track sales and status reports
• Collaborate with vendor sales representatives via joint sales calls and obtain updated vendor-requested target account lists and reports

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in sales, marketing, communications, or mechanical engineering-related field, or equivalent work experience is preferred
• 4 or more years of outside sales experience is preferred
