Requirements
- Must have at least 2-3 years Paraplanning or Financial Adviser compliance is experience
- Proven experience working with financial advisers
- Proficiency with all modules of XPLAN software
- Extensive and current knowledge of Australian Financial Services licensees and their advisers
- Experience with all aspects of Microsoft Office, as well as other relevant software applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer literacy and time management skills
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing conditions
- Capable of presenting to both small and large groups
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exhibit motivation, and engage effectively with a range of individuals
Responsibilities
- Fact find data entry and collation of client data
- Research and documentation of wealth solutions including Super, Investment, Insurance, Portfolios and complex cashflow modelling scenarios
- Developing and constructing high-quality, compliant financial advice documents and relevant collateral for Authorised Representatives
- Ability to complete insurance needs analysis and Preassessments with Insurers and preparation of insurance quotes
- Ensuring all created documents are accurate, technically sound, and personalized according to legislative requirements and guidelines
- Overseeing advice document requests and collaborating with Authorised Representatives to maintain appropriateness and quality
- Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with Authorised Representatives, representing the company with professionalism
- Supporting the development and enhancement of processes and procedures for Paraplanning functions
- Staying updated on industry rules, legislation, and obligations related to financial planning
- Sourcing and evaluating technical resources and information relevant to financial advice
- Attending industry technical update sessions to remain current on best practices
- Participating in ad hoc projects that enhance team services and support company objectives
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualifications are preferred, along with knowledge of the Australian Financial Services industry
