Requirements

  • Must have at least 2-3 years Paraplanning or Financial Adviser compliance is experience
  • Proven experience working with financial advisers
  • Proficiency with all modules of XPLAN software
  • Extensive and current knowledge of Australian Financial Services licensees and their advisers
  • Experience with all aspects of Microsoft Office, as well as other relevant software applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing conditions
  • Capable of presenting to both small and large groups
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exhibit motivation, and engage effectively with a range of individuals

Responsibilities

  • Fact find data entry and collation of client data
  • Research and documentation of wealth solutions including Super, Investment, Insurance, Portfolios and complex cashflow modelling scenarios
  • Developing and constructing high-quality, compliant financial advice documents and relevant collateral for Authorised Representatives
  • Ability to complete insurance needs analysis and Preassessments with Insurers and preparation of insurance quotes
  • Ensuring all created documents are accurate, technically sound, and personalized according to legislative requirements and guidelines
  • Overseeing advice document requests and collaborating with Authorised Representatives to maintain appropriateness and quality
  • Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with Authorised Representatives, representing the company with professionalism
  • Supporting the development and enhancement of processes and procedures for Paraplanning functions
  • Staying updated on industry rules, legislation, and obligations related to financial planning
  • Sourcing and evaluating technical resources and information relevant to financial advice
  • Attending industry technical update sessions to remain current on best practices
  • Participating in ad hoc projects that enhance team services and support company objectives

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant tertiary qualifications are preferred, along with knowledge of the Australian Financial Services industry
