Payroll Trainee

Summary

The job is for a Payroll Trainee at Lauda Europe in Vienna, Austria. The successful candidate will perform various payroll tasks, liaise with different departments, and hold the right to work and live in the EU. They should have excellent English communication skills, strong organizational skills, ability to handle confidential information, PC skills including SAP, Word, and advanced Excel skills, and a good sense of humor.

Requirements

• Hold the right to work & live in the EU
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills (C1+ or native speaker)
• Strong organizational & interpersonal skills
• No previous experience is required, and a training syllabus will be provided
• An efficient and methodical work ethic – accuracy and attention to detail are essential
• Ability to maintain organization while effectively managing multiple tasks
• The ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• High degree of professionalism and ability to handle highly confidential information
• PC Skills (SAP, Word, and must have advanced skills with Excel)

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Management to support admin & payroll tasks
• Perform payroll tasks such as updating and cross-checking payroll inputs, preparing monthly payroll inputs, resolving discrepancies, collating payroll inputs from various departments, testing new payroll & system setups, preparing pay files with fixed and variable calculations, preparing bulk uploads to payroll systems
• Assist with internal controls and procedures, including documentation and Payroll Advice Forms (PAFs)
• Liaise with external payroll providers

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of other languages is beneficial
