Summary
Join VetsEZ as a Pega Developer and build and maintain Pega applications within Agile SAFe teams. Collaborate with architects and analysts to meet technical and security standards, mentor junior developers, and perform code reviews. Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and ensure compliance with federal policies and accessibility standards. Engage with stakeholders, integrate databases and legacy systems, and take on additional tasks as needed. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 7+ years of Pega PRPC experience, 3+ years of Java development experience, and CSSA certification. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related degree
- 7+ years Pega PRPC v7.x+ experience (including Smart Claims & Healthcare Foundation)
- 3+ years Java development experience
- Certified Senior System Architect CSSA certification required; Lead System Architect LSA preferred
- Strong knowledge of Pega architecture and PRPC implementation, including Direct Capture of Objectives DCO, enterprise Class Structure, Ruleset design, REST/SOAP integrations, and hands-on development using Pega rules and features such as Flows, Activities, UI, Agents, SLAs, and Connectors
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Pega applications within Agile SAFe teams
- Collaborate with architects and analysts to meet technical and security standards
- Collaborate with solution architects and Business Analysts to ensure architecture compliance, meet security requirements, and adhere to design and development standards
- Mentor junior developers and perform code reviews
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, support automated deployments, and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and consistency
- Test, debug, and monitor application performance using Pega’s built-in tools, including performance monitors, database traces, and logs/alerts
- Ensure compliance with federal policies, privacy and 508 accessibility standards
- Engage with stakeholders and clients, leveraging excellent communication skills to present solutions and gather feedback
- Integrate databases, legacy software, and online services to streamline processes and deliver seamless solutions
- Integrate with databases, legacy systems, and web services
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration tools, and Pega Deployment Manager; familiarity with Pega Cloud or public cloud platforms is a plus
