Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in a People role focused on L&D, HRBP, or people programs
- Have built and run scalable manager training, development, or engagement programs
- Are excited to work in a remote-first, async-first company where documentation, clarity, and autonomy matter
- Are a clear, thoughtful communicator who can drive programs through influence, not hierarchy
- Have a bias for shipping meaningful content to scale company culture
- Experience within a high growth startup environment within the B2C/SAAS space
Responsibilities
- Coordinate feedback review cycles and manager calibration support
- Build playbooks and templates for fair, transparent promotion practices
- Partner with leaders to identify and track high-potential talent
- Build and run growth programs (e.g., tuition reimbursement, learning stipends, coaching pilots
- Partner with team leads to support career clarity and mobility (leveraging Monarch’s defined ladders)
- Track internal mobility trends and identify opportunities for development at scale
- Own the Manager Foundations Series, focused on coaching, feedback, and prioritization
- Create and curate ongoing enablement content (async guides, workshops, templates)
- Partner with People Ops to ensure manager effectiveness is supported at key moments (e.g., promotions, new team formation)
- Own quarterly engagement surveys (eNPS + pulse); drive action plans with teams
- Help reinforce our remote-first, async-first culture through documentation, programs, and ongoing rituals
- Build and scale AI enablement across teams — e.g., “How to use AI in your role” guides, AI tip-of-the-week, and async learning pilots
- Serve as a trusted partner for employees and managers on sensitive issues
- Lead or support employee relations cases, investigations, and policy interpretation with empathy, discretion, and fairness
- Partner with Legal and leadership to ensure compliance and uphold our cultural pillars in all moments

- Are comfortable with tools like Lattice, Notion, Slack, Linear — or eager to learn
