Summary
Join YUPRO Placement as a People Engagement Specialist, a part-time, remote contract position supporting the Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and Talent Development (TD) teams. You will design impactful solutions for inclusive product experiences and workplace culture, aligning with company goals and values. Reporting to the Global Head of DEI and TD, you will collaborate with team members to achieve quarterly objectives and company-wide initiatives. This role is crucial for expanding the global team's capacity on key projects. A bachelor's degree is desired but not required; extensive industry experience in TD and DEI is highly valued. The pay range is $35-$40/hour.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in designing Learning Development and/or DEI trainings and experiences
- Experience in teaching, group facilitation, or a related field
- Demonstrated history of engagement, commitment, and leadership regarding DEI and/or TD principles, practices, and initiatives
- Ability and emotional intelligence to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and have experience managing and delivering training programs and resources through these avenues
- Value the importance of prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently to meet deadlines and project milestones
- Be highly collaborative and willing to build strong relations with your colleagues, stakeholders and leadership to foster collaboration and trust
- Possess strategic thinking and a keen ability to see down the field, create clear OKRs and what it takes to plan, execute and oversee team projects from inception to completion
- Have the ability to stay flexible and adjust training strategies to meet the evolving needs of the organization
- Possess inclusive leadership traits of cultural intelligence, respectful curiosity, cognizance and courage
Responsibilities
- Support Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and Talent Development (TD) team with its mission to design impactful solutions that allow employees to create an inclusive product experience and workplace culture that is aligned with our company goals and values
- Work closely with members of both the Talent Development and DEI teams to meet quarterly OKRs and companywide people engagement initiatives
- Be key to expanding the capacity of the global team leader and respective members on key initiatives
- Design Learning Development and/or DEI trainings and experiences
- Coordinate and implement inclusive leadership practices and programs for employees across various employee levels
- Design training programs: creating, coordinating, and implementing comprehensive training programs that align with organizational goals
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Long-tenured industry experience in TD and DEI
- Natural interest in staying current with DEI and TD industry trends
