Requirements

• Previous experience in leading teams in a complex environment
• A comprehensive understanding of the New Zealand Employment Relations environment
• Experience in leading or managing performance and behaviours across all levels
• Previous coaching and mentoring experience
• Proven ability to manage challenging performance and behaviours
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Well-developed change management skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee the onboarding process and ensure new employees are well-informed about DEFEND's policies and procedures
• Manage employee leave requests and ensure compliance with company policies
• Support employees in setting and reviewing performance goals, fostering a goal-oriented work environment
• Facilitate performance and appraisal reviews, actively supporting the development and improvement of employees' skills
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to create and implement career development plans, identifying opportunities for growth and advancement
• Offer personalized 1:1 support and guidance, addressing personal and professional concerns, and ensuring overall well-being
