Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Active and in-good-standing Florida Pharmacist license
• Ability to be onsite 5 days a week

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and implement policies and procedures that comply with state and federal pharmaceutical regulations
• Ensure ISO environment compliance through regular monitoring and quality assurance
• Compound medications by accurately measuring, mixing, and packaging ingredients according to prescriptions
• Hire, train, and supervise pharmacy technicians to build a high-performing team
• Partner with new product development teams to align the production of sterile compounds with patient demand
• Stay up-to-date with regulatory and legal changes, ensuring the pharmacy operates within all guidelines
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal medication therapies
• Process prescriptions, maintain inventory levels, and manage vendor relationships to optimize costs and efficiency
• Set high standards for work ethic, productivity, and commitment, serving as a role model for the team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with sterile compounding
• Experience in launching and managing new pharmacy facilities, including construction and vendor management
• Experience with Facility Oversight: Oversee all aspects of sterile compounding operations and maintain compliance with USP 795, 797, and 800 standards
• Background in a fast-growth startup environment
