Summary
Join Magic Media, a global media and tech group, as a Phaser Game Developer and contribute to the front-end development of engaging gaming titles. You will be responsible for designing, developing, coding, testing, and debugging game features, collaborating with designers and artists to optimize user experience. This role requires extensive experience in TypeScript programming for games, proficiency in Phaser and WebGL, and a passion for video games. You will also be involved in project planning, communication with client development teams, and technical tasks like debugging and asset optimization. Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as Javascript developer
- Experience with Phaser and WebGL games
- Javascript / Typescript experience and expertize
- A passion for video games
- Package builder (Webpack, Vite, etc…)
- Integration with websockets and RESTFUL APIs
- Technical knowledge of debugging and asset optimization for web
Responsibilities
- Create new features for Phaser/HTML5 games, working together with designers and artists to achieve the best user experience possible
- Fix issues of games that were already launched
- Plan projects and tasks along-side the project manager
- Talk directly with the development team of our clients
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge in the usage of AI tools
- Involved in the development of at least one large game title from A-Z
- Experience with mobile games
- Solid technical foundation (e.g. Computer Science / Maths Degree or equivalent)
