Physician - APP Supervision

Summary

Join Oscar Medical Group's Virtual Urgent Care team as a supervising physician for Advanced Practice Providers. This remote role involves overseeing acute care services delivered via telemedicine; you will not provide direct patient care. You'll collaborate with other healthcare professionals and ensure compliance with regulations. The position requires board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine, along with supervision experience and a Georgia medical license. Compensation includes $300 per APP per month for supervision, malpractice insurance coverage, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

• Board-certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Supervision experience of Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA)
• Must live in Georgia
• Must have an active state license in Georgia
• 3+ years clinical experience in urgent care, ER or outpatient family medicine practice

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants within state by state regulations
• Collaborate with MAs, RNs, and other providers across service lines
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of Telemedicine experience
• Fluent in Spanish
• Must have a compact license or be eligible for IMLCC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact)
• Licensed in OMG states: MI, IL, CT, PA, NC, OK, VA, TX, FL, OH
