Summary
Join Oscar Medical Group's Virtual Urgent Care team as a Physician! Provide virtual care to members across designated states, utilizing audio, video, and written communication. This part-time, remote role offers a flexible schedule (2 weekdays and 1 weekend day per month) and competitive hourly pay ($90-$136). You'll collaborate with a care team, utilize virtual exam tools, and contribute to process improvements. The position requires specific licensing and experience in virtual care and urgent care settings. Requirements
- MD/DO from accredited program
- Board Certification (ER/FM/IM)
- 3+ years of outpatient urgent care or emergency department experience
- 2+ years of experience delivering virtual care
- Licensed in core Oscar states (FL, GA, TX) and TN/MO
- Compact license from IMLCC or eligible for a compact license
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality care for patients in a virtual setting
- Collaborate with Physicians and/or Advanced Practice Leads on the Care Team as needed when working with complex patients
- Follow up on labs, imaging, and closed loop communication with patients and other providers as needed
- Use tooling to allow virtual βexamsβ including remote home monitoring equipment, remote physical exam, remote point of care diagnostics
- Participate in collaborative care model with various care team members including but not limited to registered nurses, medical assistants, PCPs, behavioral health clinicians, and clinical supervisor where applicable
- Participate in required meetings to support patient care including huddles, case conferencing and regular service line All Hands
- Provide feedback to support improvement in operational workflows and product features
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Spanish language fluency
- Able and willing to obtain additional licensure in Oscar Medical Group states
