Summary

Join Dane Street, a national provider of Group Health Review services, as an independent contractor physician to provide medical necessity reviews. This telework opportunity offers a flexible schedule and customized caseload. As an independent contract reviewer (1099), you will be compensated per case, with an average review time of 10-15 minutes. The position requires an active, unrestricted Washington Medical License, active practice, and board certification. Dane Street provides training, a user-friendly work portal, and ongoing support. No patient-physician relationship is established; reviews are advisory only.

Requirements

• Have an active license
• Current, unrestricted Washington Medical License
• Active Practice
• Board Certified
• Be an Endocrinology specialist with direct experience prescribing and treating gender dysphoria patients
• Have WPATH GEI Certification for Care of Transgender Adolescents

Responsibilities

• Review medical necessity of treatment requests and appeals for denied services
• Address the medical necessity of treatment requests and, in appeals, the medical necessity of previously denied services
