Requirements

• Have an active, unrestricted New Mexico Medical License
• Maintain an active medical practice
• Be Board Certified
• Possess WPATH GEI Certification for Care of Transgender Adolescents
• Have direct experience prescribing and treating gender dysphoria patients

Responsibilities

• Review the medical necessity of treatment requests and appeals for previously denied services
• Address the medical necessity of treatment requests and, in appeals, the medical necessity of previously denied services
• Choose services and case types
• Dictate volume of work
• Conduct work based on scheduled availability
